The Hills opens in Surry Hills

A relaxed Southern Californian bar-eatery opens today a floor below Surry Hills' new, grungy-chic Brooklyn Social.

The Hills features a colourful Venice Beach interior referencing surf, skate and roller girl culture. California girls (and guys) won't live on pizza alone.

Tacos filled with octopus, yuzu and pickled radish are slated for the opening menu, along with Hawaiian jerk chicken pizza. Cripes.

The Hills is the second phase of Ben Man's redevelopment of the Central Tavern hotel.
