Ever feel like shooting a chef? No, silly, with a camera! The popular annual Sydney Shoot the Chef competition is coming to Victoria as part of Fairfax's Good Food Month. The annual photo competition is open to all photographers.

So, whether it's an interest, your job or something you've been considering, pick up your camera of choice, get shooting and then share it on social media using #shootthechef. Entries can range from a classic portrait, to the creative (see Sean Connolly draped in wakame, pictured, by Jack Atley).

Entries open today, close on September 8 and the winners will be announced in the paper on September 24. There'll be a critic's choice and people's choice award and the two winners will each receive $2500. For full details go to goodfoodmonth.com/shootthechef.
