A who's who of A-list chefs are getting behind a dinner organised by Bistrode CBD's Jeremy Strode for suicide prevention organisation R U OK?

The dinner, on September 8 in the Ivy Ballroom, will include the cooking talent of chefs David Swain, Ben Greeno, Greg Malouf, Brent Savage and Attica's Ben Shewry. And many more.

Strode says his 35 years working in kitchens helped fuel the event.

"The hospitality industry is renowned for its unforgiving nature, placing added pressure on us personally and our relationships. Having the foresight and taking the time to have a conversation with someone you may or may not know and asking if they're OK, is a wonderful thing," Strode says.

You can support RU OK? and dine on the fruits of one of best line-ups of Australian chefs assembled. Tickets: $3500 per table (10 people). See ruok.org.au/chefsdinner
