Violet Chocolates opens at Enfield

Liverpool Road, Enfield, is not exactly Sydney's Rodeo Drive for chocoholics, but the strip is now home to one of the city's most creative chocolatiers. Violeta Damian was head chocolatier at Haberfield's Colefax, the swish chocolate business that closed in 2012. Damian, who says she lost superannuation and long service leave payments in the Colefax washup, went on to open Violet Chocolates at 138A Liverpool Road. Her first solo Easter range looks promising. Not sure about the chocolate bunny on the surfboard but egganistas will love the handmade, handpainted chocolate eggs.
