Plenty has been written about the food truck battle for supremacy (which is better - Gumbo Kitchen or Taco Truck etc etc.) but now at least there's a clear winner for the title of "Melbourne's biggest". The lads at Massive Wieners now have their very own Massive Wieners Rollin' Diner; a food truck (well, bus) that you can actually eat in, or rather, eat on.

The diner, which seats 20 people on the open top deck (there's standing room for a further 30) will be unveiled on the Esplanade at the St Kilda Festival this Sunday (February 10). Wiener brains Dave Brennan and Liam Magee actually bought the bus a couple of years ago, but their grand plan to run bus parties fell by the Massive Wiener wayside once success saw their humble hot dog stand converted to permanent digs in Greville Street (Prahran). The mobile diner's menu will branch out slightly from Greville Street eatery; there will be fries and chilli-cheese fries too.
