The crew at Wilbur's Place in Potts Point are lucky enough to have one of coolest bar-diners in Sydney, The Roosevelt, just a Tiger Woods chip shot away when they want somewhere to go after work.

While most of the staff at The Good Food Guide listed restaurant might pull up a late-night chair, Wilbur's chef Adam Lord has gone the extra mile and joined The Roosevelt as head chef.

Wilbur's, which is owned by Bourke Street Bakery founders Paul Allam and David McGuinness, has promoted Alex Lynn, a graduate of the Ms G's kitchen, to replace Lord as head chef.

"Wilbur's has been really busy," Allam says. "With the lockout laws people are flooding back to our type of business. If you spoke to nightclub owners in the area it might be different, but Llankelly Place is really busy."
