The folk who bring you the Skate in the City ice skating rink are putting on a Winter Curry Festival to go along with it this July.

The festival will be held on the weekend of July 11-12 next to the skating rink in Garema Place in Civic and will offer street food, market stalls, and entertainment.

The Skate in the City team are looking for chefs, food vans and producers (and - um - travel agents "specialising in countries that have curry as part of their cuisine") to take part in the festival. It's a great idea - a hearty spicy curry on a winter night after a skating session. Organisers want applications in by the end of May.
