Yayoi opens at The Galeries, Sydney

Bridge Street's Yayoi Japanese restaurant has launched a weekend spin-off, opening at go-ahead city food spot The Galeries.

With Lotus The Galeries in residence and The Grounds of Alexandria planning a spin-off at the George Street centre, Yayoi's timing is good.

The speedy version of its Bridge Street sibling has a lower price point and a more casual experience. It also has the DIY element, with customers ordering on iPads.
