You can never have too much pizza

Tony Nicolini's DOC pizzeria group is beginning to look as generously proportioned as a family-size pie with last week's opening of DOC Albert Park. Nicolini opened the first DOC pizzeria in Carlton in 2007 and now has DOC Delicatessen and neighbouring Carlton Espresso cafe, DOC Mornington and DOC Albert Park (135 Victoria Avenue).

Nicolini and business partners Robert de Santis and Michael Costanzo have brought in former DOC Mornington employee Riccardo Bianchini as a partner in the Albert Park 115-seater, which opens for dinner Monday to Sunday, and lunch Friday to Sunday.
