Eclade de Moyle

What do you get when you combine Tasmania's hottest chef, Melbourne's wildest brewers and mussels on fire? You get the red hot smoked seafood party you need to be at. Join chef David Moyle of Franklin Restaurant and French chef Florent Gerardin as they create a traditional French eclade de moules – huge boards of mussels smoked under a stack of burning pine needles. It's the ultimate Sunday session fuelled by Moon Dog's specially brewed Love Mussel beer, epic natural wines from Sue Dyson and Roger McShane of Living Wines and likely some rock.

Moon Dog Brewery, Abbotsford, Sunday, November 15, 2pm-4pm, $50 includes mussels, potatoes, and two drinks, TICKETS

FareShare and RSVP's Recipe for Love

Hey singles – go looking for love in exactly the right place. Every year, two million Australians will experience hunger while we waste 200 kilograms of food for every man, woman and child. On Thursday, November 12, and November 26, FareShare will host speed dating nights where singles will take to FareShare's Abbotsford kitchens, work together to cook for the needy, then head across the road for a free drink, put on by the National.

Think you can nail the region of your bowl of pasta? The Grand thinks maybe you can. Each event they're doing for Good Food Month is based on a different part of Italy, which you'll need to figure out over five courses using your fork and some additional clues. It's essentially Carmen Sandiego applied to Italian food.

The Grand, 333 Burnley Street, Richmond, 03 9429 2530. November 10-12, 17-19; 6.30-11.30pm, $135, or $115 for Grand regulars, includes matched wines.
