The Adelaide Festival Precinct will be transformed into hawker-style food markets this September as Good Food Month launches one of its most popular events in the South Australian capital.

The Night Noodle Markets will run from September 24 to October 4, alongside the OzAsia Festival, a celebration of Asian arts and culture.

Simone Romaniuk, an award-winning production designer, will collaborate on the event, creating a laneway-like space inspired by the bustling markets of Asia.

The Night Noodle Markets started in Sydney almost two decades ago, serving up dumplings, spicy soups and, of course, noodles, to hungry market goers. In recent years they've expanded to Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth.
