Good Food Month, presented by Citi, is in full swing. There's a whole collection of foodie events that are exclusive to this weekend and coming week. So if you're looking for something special, whether it's with the family, for date night or catching up with friends over a meal, here's just a taste of what's on.

Enjoy a home-style farmers' breakfast at the markets this weekend, with produce-driven brekkies from $6.

Sake: Making, Tasting, Brewing, Saturday, July 12, 9.30am, Wasabi Restaurant and Bar, 2 Quamby Place, Noosa Sound
Want to learn how to make sake? Wasabi's four-hour sake masterclass ($160) includes a three-course lunch – and you'll even take home your own batch of sake made in-class.

Dispel the hangover myth and mix grape and grain at this five-course degustation ($95) that pits beer against wine.

Afternoon with the Stars, Sunday, July 13, 2pm, Wandering Cooks, 1 Fish Lane, South Brisbane
This festival highlight ($95) features three of the country's best chefs - Peter Gilmore of Sydney's Quay, Andrew McConnell of Melbourne's Cutler & Co and Ryan Squires of Esquire, winner of The Brisbane Times Good Food Guide Citi chef of the year award. The masterclass and demonstration includes a post-event meet and greet with the famous trio.

Chocolate High Tea, Sunday, July 13, 1pm, Dello Mano, 29 Doggett Street Brisbane
Chocoholics will love Dello Mano's high tea, complete with a selection of savouries and chocolate-inspired desserts, many based around their signature luxury brownies.

Sunday Family Lunch, Sunday, July 13, various locations
Take the family to lunch and enjoy a buffet spread at Four Points by Sheraton, or dine a la famiglia at L'Angolo's Italian lunch. Gordita, Mondo Organics, Pony Dining and Aquitaine Brasserie are also in on the lunching action.

Butcher, Baker and Winemaker, Tuesday, July 15, 6.30pm, Wandering Cooks, 1 Fish Lane South Brisbane
Get in quick for tickets to this wine tasting event ($90). Yalumba winemaker Kevin Glastonbury will pair the vineyard's drops with some of Queensland's top charcuterie and cheese, showcasing producers such as Woombye Cheese.

15th Birthday Celebration, Tuesday, July 15, 6.30pm, Restaurant Two, 2 Edward Street, Brisbane
It's Restaurant Two's 15th birthday they're throwing a party. The special five-course dinner ($125) includes a selection of canapes, signature dishes and a dessert retrospective.

Rooftops and Laneways, Tuesday, July 15, 6pm, Wesley House, 140 Ann Street Brisbane
Overlook King George Square from the Wesley House rooftop and tuck into OzHarvest's special 'leftovers' menu that ties in with their waste not, want not ethos. The menu aims to use a whole hind quarter of beef, and will be served with Sirromet wine ($125).

Editors' Dinner, Wednesday July 16, Gerard's Bistro, 6.30pm, 14/15 James Street, Fortitude Valley
Meet the editors of the Brisbane Times Good Food Guide and The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide at Gerard's Bistro. Gerard's was named 2014's restaurant of the year. Tickets include a five-course dinner with matching wines ($115). Editors Natascha Mirosch and Joanna Savill will open up a Q&A session and explain how the Guides come together.

Hats Off Dinners, Wednesday, July 16, various locations
Public is taking on the paleo way of life with a one-off caveman-friendly six-course meal ($150). Meanwhile, Matt Moran is showing off beef from his family farm with a nose-to-tail dinner at Aria ($145).

Ladies' Soiree, Thursday July 17, 6.30pm, The Jetty South Bank, Shop 4, River Quay, Sidon Street, South Bank
Brisbane's Fabulous Ladies' Wine Society are hosting a soiree at The Jetty, billed as a “convivial get together of (fabulous) wine-loving women”. Tickets are $95 for members or $110 for non-members.

A Taste of Mexico, Thursday July 17, Cinco Bistro, 589 Old Cleveland Road, Camp Hill
On the south side of town, Cinco Bistro is heading “Far South of the Border” with a Mexican dinner ($95) based around the southern region of Mexico.
