What's on: Brisbane Good Food Month July 21-24

A number of events are already sold out as Good Food Month, presented by Citi, passes the halfway mark. But don't fret, there's still a collective of culinary delights to devour. Here are our picks for this week.

Night Noodle Markets, Thursday, July 17-Sunday, July 27, Cultural Forecourt, South Bank
The much anticipated Night Noodle Markets kicked off on Thursday. Entry is free and there are bars and entertainment as well as more than 20 stalls dishing up Asian street food favourites. The markets run for 11 nights.

After Image exhibition and dinner, Vintaged Bar + Grill, 190 Elizabeth Street, Brisbane
A free exhibition at The Hilton's Vintaged Bar + Grill showcases the new, large-scale art piece installed behind the bar by Simon Degroot. There are also 12 sketches on display by Australian architect Harry Seidler (who designed The Hilton Brisbane) which inspired Degroot's artwork. During Good Food Month you can grab an art lovers' dinner deal ($35) at Vintaged, seven days a week.

Hervey Bay, Queensland's Galicia, Wednesday, July 23, 7pm, Moda Restaurant, 12 Edward Street, Brisbane
Join chef Javier Codina and guest chef Nick Street-Brown (Coast) and celebrate Hervey Bay's best seafood, Spanish style. There will be canapes, four tapas items, three mains and three desserts, all paired with Galician wines ($135) to transport you to Spain.

Pitchfork & Cork, Thursday, July 24, 6pm, Pitchfork Restaurant, 5/4 Kingfisher Drive, Peregian Beach
A seven-course degustation meal ($135) is on the cards at Pitchfork Restaurant, accompanied by a cocktail with the first dish, and matching wines throughout.

Vine and Wine, Wednesday, July 23, 5:30pm, Bacchus, corner of Grey and Glenelg Streets, South Bank
Returning again is Vine and Wine Wednesday at Bacchus where a charcuterie and wine-matching session includes the sampling of Yalumba red and white wines with head chef Mark Penna and sommelier Andrew Giblin. It's a free event, so get in quick.

Get Sticky with Neighbourhood Honey, Thursday, July 24, 6:30pm, Next Door Kitchen and Bar, Shop B11, Little Stanley Street, South Bank
Want to know what a seven-course honey degustation meal entails? Then buzz over to Next Door Kitchen and Bar ($130) as they partner with Bee One Third to celebrate the neighbourhood honey movement and the beekeepers making it flourish.
