What's on: Brisbane Good Food Month July 26-31

We're at the tail end of Good Food Month, presented by Citi, but there are still plenty of events to keep your diary full right up until July 31. Here are our picks for the final week of the festival.

Night Noodle Markets, until Sunday, July 27, Cultural Forecourt, South Bank
This Sunday sees the end of 11 glorious nights of the hugely popular Night Noodle Markets so if you haven't yet been, make it a priority. Entry is free and there are bars and entertainment as well as more than 20 stalls dishing up Asian street food favourites.

Synergy of Ceramics and Japanese Food, Saturday, July 26, Wasabi Restaurant and Bar, 2 Quamby Place, Noosa Sound
Head north to Wasabi Restaurant and Bar to celebrate the powerful relationship between Japanese food and ceramics with a five-course degustation ($160) plated on unique pieces designed by ceramic artist Sarah Sheppard. Learn more about the event and crockery here.

Inspiration Garden, Saturday, July 26, Brisbane Farmers' Markets, Corner of Creek and Wynnum Roads, Cannon Hill
Stop by the Brisbane Farmers' Markets on Saturday morning and hear the team from The Inspiration Garden chat about their neighbourhood permaculture garden and the secrets to growing plants in Brisbane, plus pick up some tips on using herbs for medical purposes.

High Tea, French Style, Saturday, July 26, C'est Bon Restaurant, 609 Stanley Street Woolloongabba
Take high tea ($60) with a French twist this Saturday at C'est Bon Restaurant, including croissants, open sandwiches, creme brulée, sweet and savoury crepes and French champagne. Bon appetit!

Chocolate Instant Expert Masterclass, Wednesday, July 30, 9am, COTAH, 74 Tribune Street, South Brisbane
Chocoholics take note, you can learn to make your own choccies at this masterclass at COTAH, the College of Tourism and Hospitality. The college's signature chocolate pralines class will teach you to make a range of fillings and how to temper chocolate ($155).

Great Gatsby Dinner Party, Thursday, July 31, Black Bird Bar and Grill, Riverside Centre, 123 Eagle Street, Brisbane
It's the final event of Good Food Month and you simply can't miss it! The glitzy six-course truffle dinner party ($175-$275) includes Moet champagne poured from gold magnums, so you'll be dining in true Gatsby style. Find out more about seasonal truffles here.
