Street food festival

Fancy spending a lazy Sunday grazing on top-shelf street food from a star-studded cast of chefs? Neil Perry, Luke Nguyen, Dan Hong, Chui Lee Luk and Melbourne's Benjamin Cooper (Chin Chin, Kong) join Bangkok-based maestro David Thompson and chefs from Sokyo, Cho Cho San and Golden Century for an afternoon of eating and cooking. Late entries include Haru Inukai from Ramen Ikkyu and RivaReno gelato for dessert. Complimentary drinks and all tastings included.

Venues include Sunday Spit at the Albion Hotel, Parramatta ($15 for lamb on the spit), Texan barbecue at The Erko, Erskineville ($49 for smoked pork shoulder, baked beans and cornbread - it serves four), slow-roasted lamb at The Sackville, Rozelle ($50, serves four).

Bar hop any time for some pretty swanky Tanqueray gin-based cocktails with a bar snack.
