Food and Wine has a double pass to give away to a starlight dinner at Old Parliament House during the Enlighten festival on Friday, February 28.

Drinks and canapes will be on the rooftop in two groups (capacity on the roof is only 50), with dinner on the bridges leading to the Members’ Dining Room at the back of the building. The food ($150 including wine) is by chef Sebastien Lutaud.

The double ticket will go to the first reader to email kirsten.lawson@fairfaxmedia.com.au after 7am and before 9am (with “starlight dinner” in the subject line).

Diner En Blanc will also be held as part of the Enlighten festival again this year. This is the BYO dinner where you dress in white, sit on white, eat at white tables and feel terribly in with the stylish crowd. It’s in a secret location so you dont know till the night where you’re headed.

Diner en Blanc began in Paris 26 years ago and finally reached Canberra last year, when it was held in front of the National Library (pictured), picturesque, perhaps, but not the most clandestinely exciting of secret locations.

Saturday March 8, $35, enlightencanberra.com.
