Few things are as cheering on a chilly winter Sunday as a delicious roast lunch. Here are 10 Sydney spots that will make you glad you got out of bed.

Felix

A classic French dish with a modern twist right in the middle of the city. This roast chicken for two ($66) is garnished seasonally - think Jerusalem artichokes, parsnips or carrots. Chickens are brought in each Saturday evening from Thirlmere and roasted overnight Provencal style.

Roasted at several different temperatures to achieve a paper-thin crackling, and served with a black olive tapenade, sweet and sour cabbage and fermented radishes, it has been the venue's signature dish for more than a decade. This classically Sardinian roast costs $100 for two and includes potatoes and green salad.
