Dancing Goat

New owner Adrian Chew took over this cruisy espresso den in February, and coffee is still king. Seven Seeds is the house brew, with a rotating selection of single origins from caffeine luminaries like Axil and Proud Mary: Axil's astounding Rwanda Musasa has a deep, dark-chocolate nose and fruit-toasty notes. There's cabinet food - sandwiches, panini and tasty two-bite rolls, all made with Dench bread - as well as baked potatoes and soups. The name comes from one of coffee's origin myths, in which a shepherd sees his goats jittering around after eating coffee cherries, and gets to thinking. We're glad he did.
