Dr Jekyll

Contemporary$$

It's not surprising there's no mention of his infamous alter-ego at this funky hangout; no dastardly split personalities here. Dr Jekyll is a sure thing, a seductive, resolved space with a leafy, private courtyard secreted away out back. Genuinely friendly staff are oh-so happy to extol the virtues of an intense, nutty latte. Rightly so, it's a great brew. Equally as impressive at lunch is a sublimely simple fettuccine of cherry tomatoes and quality salami or a virtuous salad of perfectly poached chicken and creamy avocado. For a suave spin on brekkie think Istra leg ham, goat's feta and Jekyll's house-cured ocean trout. Just what the Doctor ordered.
