You feel you're in the land of plenty here when your food arrives- golden wedges of sizzling saganaki; piled-high ribbons of carrot, coriander, cumin and honeyed cashews; feather-light pumpkin and spring onion puffs. Kamel serves these Mid East-inspired dishes in luxe surrounds: the wood-lined courtyard has an abundance of loungy cushions, while large, ornate brass lamps decorate the interior. Service is friendly and attentive. Most dishes are offered as half serves, letting you really explore the tempting mezze, or allow room for Turkish delight ice-cream or rosewater cocktails.
