La Svolta

Lively La Svolta is a warm, family place where exuberant service is all part of the fun. It’s one of a handful of places that’s accredited by Naples’ official pizza body, which means they’re made to strict criteria. What it means for us is can’t-go-wrong pizzas with thin, crisp bases. Restrained yet richly flavourful toppings range from tomato-based (San Marzano, of course) to pizze bianche. Pastas can vary - a lamb ragu pappardelle is delicious but tortiglioni with mushrooms and potato perhaps bland. Desserts may be mixed gelati or orange-and-almond cake. Also in Prahran.
