This bar-slash-restaurant boasts serious stamina. After throwing open the doors at 7.30am, the Ludlow Formation feeds and fortifies guests until late into the night, offering everything from breakfast crumpets to dessert-inspired cocktails - think Pineapple Upside-Down Cake (pineapple juice, vanilla vodka, amaretto) and Caramel Appletini. But the bartenders also serve up classic martinis, 30-odd beers and an extensive, largely antipodean wine list. Soak up river views from the terrace, or slip into the sleekly styled interior, decked out with recycled timbers, industrial-chic steel and statement lights.
