Pacific Seafood BBQ House

Seafood$$

This Hong Kong-style eatery is quick, authentic and unconcerned about charm or flash decor. Guests are greeted with tea and broth and attended to by a squad of staff commanding a battalion of menu choices. Look up for handwritten specials stuck to the wall, but pick carefully to stay within budget. Roast pork and duck come straight from the chopping board, and while the meats can be less than piping hot, spicy Sichuan calamari heats things up, with vegies alongside rivalling the duck skin for crispness. Fancy something less familiar? Try venison with snowpeas or a special of sauteed chicken with hot chilli and honey-glazed walnuts. Also 240 Victoria Street, Richmond 9427 8225.
