Pacific Seafood still reigns supreme in South Yarra for quality Hong Kong-style Cantonese. The kitchen does some of its best work with lobster and seafood, but these dishes will push the budget. As for the rest, it's reliable, hearty Cantonese with no fripperies. The meat in the prawn dumplings tastes ocean-fresh, the roast duck and barbecue pork are sweet and supple, and deep-fried prawns with spicy salt and chilli are great with a frosty Tsing Tao.
