Pizza Pizza

From this pint-sized weatherboard beachside bungalow come pizzas so lip-smacking they could easily become a nightly ritual. Steal one of the few seats outside, crack a Peroni longneck and devour a molten margherita, pretty with torn basil, double mozzarella and a crisp semolina-dusted base. Or, try to top toppings like fat prawns scattered around chilli, garlic and spritely rocket. The pancetta and pear version is a smoky-sweet delight heady with generous mozzarella and rich napoli. Vegetarians will smile at a crisp potato, rosemary and caramelised onion variety, or perhaps a calzone heady with pesto and roast vegetables.
