Postino

Italian$$

This fresh-faced pizzeria has become a locals’ favourite thanks to its casual Italian fare, enthusiastic service and boisterous vibe. Decked out with bare wooden tables and bentwood chairs, the warren of rooms fills quickly, so book ahead. Starters include warm ciabatta with herb-flecked ricotta, and an antipasti board generously piled with cured meats, olives and a milky orb of buffalo mozzarella. Wood-fired pizzas, in two sizes, boast perfectly charred, chewy crusts, perhaps strewn with prosciutto, basil and mozzarella; or creamy taleggio, mushrooms and thyme. That winning dough comes for dessert, too, in a calzoncino of Nutella.
