Sure, it's a sin, but this first-rate Collingwood cafe can be forgiven a little pride: it's virtually a model for how to do coffee and service right. The New Yorkish converted warehouse vibe is perfectly suited to the swarms of local stylemongers, and though the bustle can mean waiting for a table, the attentive staff never leave you feeling neglected. Dining is no casual affair, with all-day breakfast including a sweetcorn and manchego fritter with avo and bacon, and lunches like grilled mushrooms speckled with crisped parmesan resting on creamy polenta, while a hefty pork-belly sandwich is given a light paprika and aioli topping.
