The Tramway Hotel

With a warm, woody interior, slightly retro menu and an extensive burger 'bar', the Tramway is dude-food heaven. All patties, relishes and sauces are made here, chips are hand-cut, and gluten-free buns are available on request. The pulled-pork sandwich has a legion of fans and comes topped with coleslaw and a side of apple cider chutney, while the lamb and haloumi burger gets zing from lemon and mint yoghurt. Tasty patties made with Portobello mushrooms or quinoa make vegetarians feel at home too. Crafty local beers are available on tap and there's a kids' menu behind the bar - just ask.
