Wall Two 80

Modern Australian$$

It's not just the floor space that has grown at this industrial-chic cafe- the menu has expanded as well. While milk-crate seats still feature, the old record store has gone and Wall now boasts a Carlisle Street frontage. Punters pile around the new, paper-strewn communal table which has pride of place in the window. Despite the kitchen expansion, the four styles of baked eggs remain the weekend dish of choice, though the house-made beans mixed with crushed tomato and capsicum come a close second. But not everything's changed: the comfort-food inspired menu isn't above Vegemite on toasted Turkish bread. Cakes (from Phillippa's) and biscuits (from Dolcetti) are delivered daily.
