The beer garden is large, full of enormous potted plants and the odd intimate nook, and was far less packed than the bistro tables and booths at this very popular local venue. The wine list is small but adequate. The specials board changes weekly, and the menu offers a huge list of yummy-sounding options including tasting plates, good life healthy options, pub classics, pizzas and pastas. The salt-and-pepper squid packed just the right punch, flathead fillets were tender and tasty and chips spot-on, and a baked bocconcini and cherry tomato tartlet drizzled with balsamic was oh-my-god wonderful and arrived with a lovely perky salad.
