Blues Point Hotel

14/20

Contemporary$$

Close to busy North Sydney and Sydney Harbour, this art deco pub is a local for both residents and North Sydney workers. Packed with people, it makes the most of its small size. The menu has standard pub grub with some other tasty tempters. The chicken parmigiana is tender and juicy with a home-made tomato sauce, and the penne with garlic prawns, chorizo, cherry tomatoes and white wine is generous with prawns but no mention of cream in the sauce on the menu. A vanilla bean creme brulee had great flavour, but was slightly overcooked.
