Asian$$

No wonder this large, cheerfully painted corner room with wraparound windows and barbecue station up front is so popular. Servings are very generous and generally very good. The 175-item menu plunders South East Asia, from laksa to Vietnamese vermicelli, teriyaki to brimming bowls of pho and almost compulsory platters of BBQ: not fatty and saucily restrained. Green beans benefit from a proper scattering of pork mince and a splosh of XO sauce; deep-fried tofu displays the requisite ratio of crisp and soft; san choi bao is rich, dark with duck livers and studded with peas and carrot. Bet you leave with leftovers.
