Don't be put off by the name; this is no Dundee-themed gimmick. Instead, you'll find a smart upstairs bistro offering table service with a smile. It's easy to become distracted by the large peacock-shaped lamp and the live video feed to the kitchen while you try to choose between grilled salmon with peperonata or huge portions of sticky barbecued ribs. The specials are worth a look, too - perhaps perfect medium-rare beef strip loin with asparagus and fluffy pan-fried gnocchi. While dessert keeps mostly to pub classics, a silky coconut and pineapple panna cotta served in a martini glass livens up the palate.
