The only way you'll get a more dazzling view over the Jamison Valley is to float over it in a Scenic Skyway cable car. But the Scenic Skyway doesn't come with a clubby bar area full of squishy couches and an island fireplace, or a neatly enclosed terrace of a dining room with double-clothed tables and comfy, high-backed dining chairs. There's been a change of guard in the kitchen, but the new team is continuing in a similar vein with the likes of iberico ham with glazed figs, pressed rockmelon and black olive oil; and crowd-pleasing pan-roasted barramundi in creamy savoy cabbage. Slow-cooked pork belly served with nicely cooked scallops and cauliflower puree had just a hint of 'boy pig' flavour, while an enormous serving of confit barbary duck was a bit too solid to be much fun. An impeccably pretty rhubarb and strawberry Italian meringue tart is an impressive excuse to stay a little longer with that view. Note, 14 days cancellation policy
