This whitewashed weatherboard cottage, imbued with all the chic rustic charm a glossy magazine stylist could dream of, has steadily raised the bar since locals Kassia and Tristan Grier assumed control some five years ago. Local produce is showcased in an entree assiette of chilled avocado soup, seared scallop, tuna tartare, sticky five-spice pork belly and beef tataki, while Thai flavours shine in an amuse bouche of betel leaf topped with prawns and fragrant herbs. Service has just the right mix of city smarts and country charm.
