This cosy bolthole bar just a block from busy Oxford Street is all mood lighting, exposed light bulbs, pop art murals and knick-knacks. Like many wine bars, Pocket offers an array of sharing plates including a generous dish of marinated mixed olives, chilli salt cod balls and chilli, lime and soy chicken skewers. Unlike your typical trendy bar, Pocket makes crepes. The savoury pumpkin, thyme and haloumi crepe with macadamia and rocket sauce is a tasty little bundle of sweet pumpkin and salty cheese goodness, but if you have a hankering for something sweet you can't go past the cream, meringue, strawberry and Nutella combo.
