The Arthouse Hotel

As you enter the Gallery Bar (the quieter of the two rooms), you're welcomed by soft, modern decor and overpriced artwork - but don't let that put you off. The tandoori chicken pizza - when it finally arrived - was a fabulous mix of spicy and sweet with mint yogurt on top. A pork fillet was tender but the taste somewhat overpowered by fennel. And don't get too excited about the prospect of crackling that's promised with the dish; a mere two strings of it garnished the top. But the warm chocolate and hazelnut pudding with cream is a must-try standout.
