The Coogee Bay Hotel

Serving hundreds of people a day, the Coogee Bay is a packed venue across the road from Coogee Beach, plying the lively crowd with food and entertainment. The menu is almost as extensive as the beer garden, with pizzas, burgers, steaks and fine selections of specials. The daily special is $15, which on Friday, Saturday and Sunday is a grass-fed, cook-your-own steak. The Coogee Bay delivers on its promise that it's serious about steaks, but it also has a good mix of Asian flavours - a special of grilled barramundi is served on jasmine rice with Asian greens and a fresh ginger soy reduction.
