A resident of Surry Hills since 1876, the Clarendon Hotel underwent a makeover in 2012 and is now known as the Dove & Olive. A new interior and a new menu, courtesy of international chef Jason Roberts, have brought the watering hole into the new millennium. Friendly staff serve the extensive menu, consisting of pastas, pizzas, burgers and seafood. The pork sliders were tasty but we could've done with one or two more on the plate. However, the addition of The Dove pizza and a serving of the arancini balls ensured we would leave with that warm, full feeling.
