Modern Australian$$

And along comes a cafe that changes everything. It's not only a coffee roaster (with Jack Hanna's dual Probats), but a warehouse cafe that's jam-packed at breakfast and lunch - with queues waiting. Once in, tuck in to house-baked bread, silky ocean trout gravlax with shaved fennel, and textbook fried chicken sandwiches. The seven-bean coffee blend ($3.50) is superb, roasted to elevate its earthy, chocolate characters. Add heirloom veggies and herbs from the terraced garden - complete with chooks, playground and pizza bar - and a fitout of hanging plants and vintage bottles, and cafes will never be the same again. This place is quite awe-inspiring, with its huge garden, bar, playground and chook-pen outside, and double Probat roasters, lovely cafe, divine baked goodies and warehouse chic inside. A virtual farmlet in the middle of town, with a huge warehouse cafe, Grounds Roasters' dual roasters and an enormous garden terrace housing chooks, herbs, pizza bar, playground and veggies.
