The wood-lined front bar and beer selection both have immediate appeal, but what really sets this lrish pub apart is a menu that swings from pub favourites to fine dining including a charcuterie board and cheese selection. The beef and Guinness pie doesn't disappoint, the succulent beef swimming in rich gravy with a golden crust. The sweet potato, blue cheese and roasted hazelnut salad is another quality choice, the smooth flavour of the roasted vegetable studded with bursts of cheese and house-roasted nuts. Sitting contented in the sunny beer garden, it's hard to think of a more aptly named place.
