A visit to this chic weatherboard bungalow has become a summer ritual for clued-up Lorne holidayers. Straight from the surf they flock to secure one of the few footpath seats from where they savour a beer or vino from a latte glass, and one of the 19 pizzas on offer. The thwack of pizza dough is audible, and soon they’ll emerge bubbling and crisp from the oven - topped with pancetta, roast pear and mozzarella; or fiery with the heat of chilli, garlic and prawns. Kids will love the margherita with its molten mozzarella, and also the riverside location.
