Smoothies have become a different beast since the banana and vanilla ice-cream shakes we had growing up. Not everyone will be eager to jump on the green smoothie bandwagon, but easing yourself into smoothies with something a little more familiar may be the perfect way to start your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, frozen

  • ¼ cup of raw cashews

  • 1 tsp cacao powder

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 cup almond milk, or milk of choice

Method

  1. Place all ingredients into the Nutribullet or an extractor blender of your choice.

    Blend for 45 seconds until smooth.

    Serve.
