750 g chicken thigh fillets
¼ onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 teaspoons ground coriander
3 teaspoons ground cumin
3 teaspoons garam masala
⅓ cup plain yoghurt
1 teaspoon salt
1. Cut chicken into 3 cm cubes. Soak 12 skewers in water.
2. Process onion, garlic, ginger, juice and spices in small bowl of food processor until fine. Add yoghurt and salt and combine.
3. Thread chicken onto skewers. Place skewers in a large baking dish. Coat chicken with spice mixture. Marinate for several hours or overnight, covered, in the refrigerator.
4. Barbecue skewered chicken, or fry in a large, well greased pan, until cooked through.
