Seafood

Sit in the breezy courtyard watching the passing parade of locals and holidaymakers on this bustling Tedder Avenue corner, and you know you're in the heart of the Gold Coast. A plate of plump, fresh Pacific natural oysters and a glass of crisp white complete the picture of relaxed coastal dining. Unsurprisingly, the menu has a seafood dish to satisfy just about any appetite, from the decadently rich signature crab lasagne in tomato and abalone cream, to a selection of light, fresh fish - choose from sashimi or carpaccio of king fish, tuna and ocean trout. If seafood doesn't appeal, there is a towering salad of juicy hoisin-glazed duck layered between mandarin pancakes and Chinese cabbage. The dessert menu might seem a tad limited compared with to the extensive savoury menu, with a handful of old favourites and a couple of creative options such as chocolate marquise - dense chocolate cubes paired with refreshing raspberry sorbet and raspberry and mint salad.
