The Botany View Hotel

So there's the slightly grungy front bar with a TAB and geezers watching the gee-gees while out the back at the Darley Street Bistro they're reaching for the stars with three blackboards of goodies. Garlic and cheese pizza bread is a little light on garlic but tasty nonetheless and, sadly, we dropped the huge bowl of fries on a passing cat and killed it (joking!). The Cajun-spiced barramundi quesadilla is excellent, the pan-fried chicken breast filled with spinach and parmesan and wrapped in prosciutto possibly even better. Sadly, we left no room for the moreish-sounding desserts. Reason enough to go back.
