This corner-shop cafe in the 'Bermuda triangle' area of Richmond takes its local ethos seriously: locals make up the bulk of clientele, food is sourced through local producers, and Brunswick’s Wide Open Road supplies the Bathysphere house blend, single origin and filter coffee. New head chef Jacob Swain (ex-Builders Arms) is putting his own stamp on the menu, which includes crowd favourites such as pulled barbecued pork, and broad bean and pea smash on pumpkin bread. Dark cocoa and berry notes shine through in a long black, while the latte is sweet and silky.
