Italian

While this teeny tiny wine bar's communal table may see you sitting elbow to elbow (and possibly cheek to cheek) with fellow diners, the result is intimate but not awkward. The long list of mainly Italian wines could be daunting but the staff know their stuff so leave the task of wine selection in their capable hands and focus on working through the short, but ever-evolving, menu of seasonal share plates, like the potato rotolo. It's rustic and satisfying, and the sticky balsamic ribs are good, but the chargrilled quail with aioli is a standout - smoky, succulent and crispy in all the right places.
