This coffee to cocktail cafe is something of a meet and greet for locals from dawn to dusk. With tables outside and windows open to the busy traffic tearing out of the cross-city tunnel, the lively crowd is revved up by octane as much as caffeine. A Veneziano caffe latte ($3.50) is strong and fruity, like the staff members themselves, who add to the party atmosphere. There's a hangover-friendly assortment of French toast, Bircher muesli and eggs any which way at breakfast and mod Oz salads and grills for lunch and dinner.
