Cafe Vue at Heide

Cafe

Heide has long been one of our great cultural pilgrimages. Since joining forces with 'empire Bennett', it's a culinary adventure, too. A monochromatic indoor-outdoor space, Heide's Cafe Vue bustles with daytrippers, arty types who've worked up a hunger visiting the gallery and devotees of the Vue wagyu burger. It's a petite brioche bun stuffed with herby beef, oozy cheese and cornichons, served beside a mound of crunchy chips. The Vue touch is also clear in things like chicken and porcini pie with creamy mash, and duck cassoulet jaffle. Check the enticing array of cakes and pastries: chocolate-caramel slice doesn't come flecked with gold every day.
